Among the equipment which Okehampton library has is a robotron machine, which can scan text and convert it into speech.

The library also has a wide range of spoken word CDs and cassettes, large print books, information about talking newspapers and can help provide access to websites which offer help for people with sight difficulties.

The information days at Okehampton Library are part of a special ?Make a Noise? week being organised by Devon County Council, to highlight services available.
