PREPARATIONS for the next pantomime production by Meavy Amateur Dramatics (MAD) are getting under way, with auditions planned for this week.

MAD's panto, being staged in February 2011, will be Jack and the Beanstalk. Auditions are being held today (Thursday) at 7.30pm or on Saturday, June 26, at 2pm, in Meavy Parish Hall. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Membership of MAD is £5 for adults, free for  under 18s.

Anyone who would like to help backstage is also welcome to come along.
