The pub's range of ciders has been developed by Lucy Cudlip, daughter of landlord and landlady Roger and Carol Cudlip.
The award is the latest for the pub, which has been on a great run of success, having recently been recognised as one of the top four real ale pubs in Britain in the final of the CAMRA National Pub of the Year.
The branch award recognises their dedication to cider as well as real ale. The pub sells around 17 ciders, including five sparkling ciders and 12 traditional ones.
Lucy (pictured) said: 'It feels very good to win this award, it shows the hard work pays off. I am the cider fan of the family, definitely, while Dad is more in charge of the ale side of things.
'Selecting the range means I get to go to lots of tasting sessions and select the ciders we want to sell here, which is a good part of the job!
'We try to support local breweries as well, like the Winkleigh Cider Company.'
Pub landlord Roger Cudlip said: 'From being a dad point of view, it is great to see Lucy doing so well with the cider and it's down to her hard work that we have won this. It is great.'
