TAVISTOCK Hockey Club men?s first XI had only ten men playing at Penzance. They started off slowly but settled after Jason Lovett scored his first goal.

Shortly after, Penzance gave away a penalty flick and Jason Lovett scored his second goal. Penzance managed to pull a goal back.

Joe Hess scored before half-time to make it 3-1 at the break.

In the second half Joe Hess got his second from a well taken short corner, followed by Nick Andrews scoring. Penzance were able to score their second, then Lovett scored his hat-trick.
