OUR thanks go to all who came to Bridestowe Village Hall's Auction of Gifts and Promises last Friday and helped raise a fantastic sum for hall funds.

Bids for a variety of fabulous lots meant just over £1,200 was raised for the new hall project.

We are extremely grateful to the many businesses and individuals in the area and beyond who donated items or promises for auction.

Thanks also to auctioneer James McInnes and to the many who helped run the event on the night.

The next event in aid of the village hall is the annual ram roast which takes place on the village sporting green on the afternoon of Saturday, August 4. See you all there!
