A MISSING walker lost in thick mist on Dartmoor was located safe and well by members of Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Tavistock on Sunday evening.

Members of DSRT Tavistock were called out by police at 6.45pm to search for the man in the Cox Tor area. He was found in good health by two gold Duke of Edinburgh team leaders, who passed him over to DSRT members to walk him off the moor at around 8pm.
