THE men?s final Evening League match ended in a defeat for Yelverton Bowling Club when they played against Ivybridge.

On Monday the ladies played against Kingsbridge and lost on both rinks. On Tuesday they played against Plymouth Hoe and won on all three rinks, gaining six points.

On Wednesday there was a mixed friendly home game with Plymstock which Yelverton won handsomely. Friday saw the ladies beating a friendly team from Plymouth Sir Francis Drake.

The end of the week ended in a win against Holsworthy in an away mixed friendly.
