THE TAMAR Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is hosting its second Tamar Valley Discovery Trail Challenge.

Saturday, June 1 is the day to complete the 30-mile Discovery Trail, from Tamerton Foliot to Lifton, while raising money for this year's chosen charity — Butterfly Conservation.

The main aim of the AONB team is to protect and enhance the landscape of this special area.

The challenge takes place in just over two months, so it's time to break in those walking boots and fill up those sponsorship forms to help protect the finest countryside.
