THE organisers of the Tavistock Livestock Centre open days are looking to build on the highly successful open day in 2010.

Last year the cattle market was packed with visitors who were entertained with live geese and poultry auction, livestock, demonstrations and exhibits as well as stalls selling local produce and crafts.

The open day, which is becoming an annual event, has seen visitor number increase dramatically since it began in 2007. The market will be open on Wednesday October 12 from 1am to 4pm.

Admission is free.
