RESIDENTS in Princetown will be able to watch fireworks light up the skies over one of the highest parts of Dartmoor this weekend with the village Bonfire and Fireworks Night.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 10 from 6.30pm at Princetown Community Centre.

The bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm with the fireworks display starting shortly after.

There will be plenty to enjoy, including a raffle, tombola, music, a 'club priced' bar and hot food.

Entry to the event is free and hot food is available at £1.50 per item by ticket, which can be purchased at the main entrance door.

The event has been made possible by kind donations from the community and by generous local businesses such as Dartmoor Brewery.

Money raised from the night will go towards a Christmas event for adults and children in the local community.
