PGSO B A 2

Okehampton 1

OKEHAMPTON men's hockey team produced a mediocre performance on Saturday in the Gerrard Hockey League.

A slow start by Okehampton gave PGs time to get into their stride and open the scoring.

Okehampton had to work hard to keep the scoring down. Mark Clapham tackled well, and Keith Dennis made some good saves in front of the goal.

However, it was not long before Okehampton conceded a second goal.

Okehampton got more into their stride as the half went on and they started the second half with more conviction.

A good move with neat passing on the right pushed the PG's defence out of position.

Okehampton worked the ball around the circle and gave John Long the chance to score for Okehampton by flicking past the keeper.

This week Okehampton entertain Truro A at 1pm at the college.
