Tavistock Thistles U15s 2 Callington Colts 2 CALLINGTON, after a long journey due to the road closure at Gunnislake, arrived determined to go home with the three points for their trouble. But Thistles took the lead with a great running goal from Chris Hutchins after ten minutes of fast and furious play. Callington threatened continually, being rewarded with a fine header from a corner after 20 minutes. An early five-minute break due to a pitch repair calmed things down and it stayed 1-1 at half-time Both teams started well and Callington went ahead early with a fine break which caught the Thistles back four off guard. They responded with fine defensive teamwork and a stunning off the line save from keeper Darren Lake. Thistles pushed forward with several attacks. ?New boy? Henry Lake picked up a great through ball from Alex Lowe and scored his first goal for Thistles with five minutes left on the clock.
