Tavistock RFC U15s 31 Okehampton RFC U15s 7 AFTER a scrappy first half, Tavistock turned on the style scoring five tries with Jack Lindsey, Dan Oner, Elliot Northmore and man of the match James Lockley, who touched down four tries, giving outstanding performances. The visitors applied early pressure with Tavistock being pinned back inside their own 22. After a series of scrums and lineouts the Okehampton forwards drove over for the first try. Tavistock only broke out occasionally and could not apply the finishing touch to their possession. In the second half Tavistock turned over on halfway and released James Lockley who rounded the defence to score his first try. Another Lockley try followed, when he ran in from his own 22 after rounding the visitors? defence. The home forwards were now working tremendously hard and providing good ball which enabled winger Dan Oner to run in the next try from inside his own half. Tavistock were now rampant and following a great catch in his own 22, Sam Lindsey stayed on his feet under pressure and the ball was fed to Lockley who again outstripped the visitors defence for another try. Tavistock were now pushing for more scores and after a lineout inside the Okehampton 22 the ball was fed along to Lockley for the final try. Josh Leeson kicked 3 conversions.
