The first half was full of incident and controversy as both teams got over-enthusiastic. Players flew into tackles, resulting in Nathan Harvey and a Godolphin player getting sent off after trading punches. Bere got caught with a ball over the top bringing a 1-0 score at half time. With tempers calmed, football took over in the second half, with Godolphin scoring a poor goal, as Ian Crabb, as the last man, got caught and robbed to run through for 2-0 to Godolphin. Bere got caught for 3-0 trying to play one-two in their six yard box and got mugged again. Bere took control and threw everything at Godolphin. Their keeper was at full stretch clearing their lines, until Will Westlake scored from the edge of the box. Godolphin continued to defend until the final minute.
