TAVISTOCK Lions Club enjoyed their charter night at St Mellion Golf and Country Club recently. Club president Janet Nowell and her husband, Bob, are pictured with principal guests town mayor Cllr Jenny Metcalf and her consort James Metcalf, preb John Rawlings and his wife Janette, Fiona and David Incoll, representing the Rotary Club of Tavistock, and Nicky and James Bird, of the Times ? James was celebrating 25 years with the paper and during the evening the Lions presented him with a gift to mark the occasion.
