OKEHAMPTON Library is launching new activities on March 5 to celebrate World Book Day.

Children are being invited to take part in a 'Mini Adventure in the Library' each month, then have a collector's card stamped and receive a certificate when the card is full.

There will also be the regular Duplo Storytime session at 10.30am.

At 7pm there is an informal meeting to discuss setting up a writers' group for budding authors, if you are interested go along to the library and enjoy free refreshments.

There will also be a craft group on Tuesdays and help on researching ancestors.
