THE hosts entertained the league leaders and for the first time faced a superior team.

Although starting brightly the home side never managed to create any clear cut chances, before they conceded twice in two minutes due to losing concentration.

Mark Parsons then had the only opportunity of the half for Okehampton but he couldn't convert from a tight angle.

The second half saw the hosts continue to push to get back into the game but the visitors soaked up the pressure hitting Okehampton on the counter attack.

The away side extended their lead with a counter attacks as the home side pushed for a way back into the game, Parsons then scored a reverse strike to give the hosts a glimmer of hope.

But Mid Somerset completed the scoring with another well worked goal leaving Okehampton to pick themselves back up and prepare for next week when they travel to play Torbay.
