WHILE filming for the new series of the BBC's property show 'Escape to Country', two enthusiastic foodie house hunters were introduced to the Tudor cuisine at Buckland Abbey.
Tudor re-enactment cook Patricia Coxson told them about Tudor eating habits while preparing a salmon pie with their help. The start of the new run of programmes will be at the end of October.
For those wanting to hear about and experience Tudor cooking first hand, courses are being held at Barnabas House in Yelverton.
The half-day workshops are to be held on October, 21, December 9 and 18.
