OKEHAMPTON Hockey Club chairman Di Johnson and men's chairman John Jarvis are pictured with with some of this season's winners at the awards night. The ladies' first team were celebrating winning Trelawney 2 League, gaining promotion for the second season running, while the ladies' second team fininshed runners-up in the the Plymouth and District second division. Carol Taylor received the first team player of the year award while the second team player of the year went to Sophie Whitely.  The award for highest goalscorer went to Jo Moppet and Sarah Jones was presented with the most improved player in the club. Jennie Humphry was voted club member of the year in recognition for all her hard work during the season. The men's first team player of the season was Tim Morgan and the first team most improved player went to Tom Forrester. The men's second team player of the year went to Will Spry with James Rogers picking up the most improved player. The club man of the year was presented to John Cross.
