AFTER a lengthy break, Okehampton took a long time to get into this game. Playing away to the league leaders was an uphill challenge, both mentally and physically.
Okehampton began to settle but it was the home team who scored first. The ladies had several corners but no goals came from them and North Molton went in at half time with a 2?0 lead.
Play continued much the same as in the first half with opportunities falling to both teams to attack. But North Molton made the most of their chances to go 5?0 up.
It was not until the last 15 minutes that Okehampton scored, Hayley Vincent taking on and beating several players before striking a long range shot into the back of the net. A late consolation goal, but well deserved by the midfielder who battled continually.
