TAWTON held on to a point at Exmouth but in the first ten minutes Exmouth caught them napping. It could have been three up but good goalkeeping from A Grimshaw kept Tawton in the game. Finally Tawton got into their game and a pass from midfield put G Pitts through on goal. Tawton carried on the pressure and R Board?s skilful play put K Tapp in on goal to score a blinding goal.
Tawton?s two goal lead was short lived as Exmouth were gifted two goals just before half time.
Second half both teams went for the win and both teams had good chances. The last ten minutes of the game Tawton piled on the pressure and had several chances but were unable to finish off the game.
