THE Lambs closed the gap to one point on third placed Godolphin with this dominant performance over Falmouth Town. The game was over as a contest with the home team scoring four goals in the opening 35 minutes.

Tavistock got off to a flying start putting the visitors’ defence under pressure from the off, in the third minute a fine move saw Josh Robins have a shot well saved by Barns in the visitors’ goal.

The early pressure paid off in the tenth minute when a good move saw Kelvin Fyneboy find Glyn Hobbs 25 yards from goal, his superb, unstoppable bullet strike, flashed into the net. Three minutes later Lewis Coombes saw his effort skim the top of the crossbar.
