ORGANISERS of the third Chestnut Walk are hoping that this year's event will be bigger and better than ever.

The four mile walk around Burrator Reservoir, on Sunday, September 13, is accessible to most people, families and well behaved dogs on a lead.

All money raised will go towards supporting prostate cancer care in Devon and Cornwall. Last year money raised provided the salaries for prostate cancer nurse specialists in its hospitals, and this year it is hoped to build on this achievement with another two nurses and more state of the art equipment to treat prostate cancer.

There is a £10 entry fee and this will include a free t-shirt and some sort of snack at the end of the walk.
