Gunnislake 3

Foxhole 1

FOXHOLE had the better of the opening 20 minutes but were unable to trouble Andy Woodward in the Gunnislake goal.

Gunnislake looked dangerous with Paul Tomkies causing the Foxhole defence problems as he combined with striker partner Andy Luckham.

The remainder of the first half saw play become more even, then Gunnislake scored the opening goal. Mark Yeoman made a good run and cross which Tomkies was on hand to convert.

Gunnislake dominated early exchanges of the second half and doubled their lead on 50 minutes when Neil Kinger scored from the penalty spot.

The third goal came ten minutes later when Joe Pudsey latched onto a Mark Southcott throw-in to trick his way past two challenges before firing home from 20 yards.

Foxhole scored a consolation goal direct from a free kick.

This Saturday Chillaton visit Gunnislake for a league fixture, kick off 2.30 pm.
