A SPLENDID £900 was raised following Kelly College Prep School's 'It's a Knockout Competition', held at the school last month.

The money has been donated to Bowel Cancer West.

Consultant Colorectal surgeon and director of the charity Mark Coleman said: 'Bowel Cancer West was launched as a new charity in March this year, and it has already started a momentum of fund raising activities.

'We are very grateful and appreciative of the monies raised by this event, and thank everyone involved with the kind donation received.'
