A Kingsbridge man has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman in Tavistock.

Daniel Matthew Thomson, 20, of Loddiswell nr Kingsbridge appeared at Plymouth Magistrates Court on January 25 and pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her in Bedford Square, Tavistock on September 17 2022.

Thomson has been remanded on unconditional bail until June 9 where he must appear at 2pm in Courtroom 02 of Plymouth Magistrates' Court. The case has been adjourned for the trial.
