THE team approached the match with an air of confidence and sights had been set high following the previous week?s success against Shebbear College.

Grenville College kicked off and Ben Higgins caught and drove; unfortunately, the ball was lost in the ensuing melee and Grenville drove towards the line.

They were to be thwarted by some excellent tackling from the back three, thereby saving Kelly College from going behind early on.

The tide soon changed dramatically after the first five minutes and all the pressure began to come from Kelly College.

This, in turn, resulted in Alex Shephard going over for a try.

The pressure was maintained after the resulting kick-off and although Grenville College tackled gallantly in the end Ben Higgins broke through the tiring defence to power over for Kelly?s second try.

The start of the second half proved similar to the first with much of the pressure coming from Grenville College leading to their forwards scoring a deserved try.

Kelly College had not had their fill of point scoring, and just before the final whistle, Robert Wilson powered over to score with Will Gray converting.
