PENSILVA started the better and hit the crossbar inside the first 20 minutes.
This woke Lewdown up and they took the lead from a Peter Rockell corner which Mick Deacon headed home.
Lewdown had a bit of luck when for the second time the crossbar was hit by Pensilva.
In the second half an excellent move set up Adrian Vernon to score Lewdown's second. From then on Lewdown were virtually untroubled and the lead would have been extended but a Peter Rockell free kick was saved by the keeper. The keeper turned from hero to villain when he was sent off.
