THERE are limited tickets still available for the highly anticipated CHICKS Winter Ball, so people are being encouraged to get tickets while they can.

CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) will be holding its annual Winter Ball on Saturday, January 22 at Boringdon Park Golf Club.

The ball has changed date this year after an unexpected postponement due to a fire at the original venue. Boringdon Park Golf Club stepped in as the new venue after pleas on BBC Radio Devon.

The black tie event will include a delicious four course meal followed by live music from the fantastic Filthy Gorgeous. In addition, guests can take part in the casino and auction with superb prizes at stake. The Ball is set to be the spectacular event of this season.

The charity expressed thanks to Gordon Sparks at BBC Radio Devon Plymouth for all his help and donation of an auction prize.

CHICKS offers free respite breaks to underprivileged children across the UK at its camps in Brentor and Cornwall, and the winter ball is one of the major events which funds these breaks.

The winter ball runs from 7pm to 1am.
