A BLUSTERY day with heavy showers on Friday saw 48 junior golfers with ages ranging from 8 to 18 playing in the Okehampton Junior Open incorporating the Daily Telegraph Centre Parcs qualifier.
The day began with the youngsters playing in three divisions from different length tees in medal play. In the afternoon, an adult joined any junior who wanted to play a further 10 holes foursomes for a separate prize.

On Saturday the club played for the Brian Adams Salver, a scratch medal event and the Bill Webber Bowl handicap medal.
In great weather, 104 golfers played on fast greens and lush fairways.
