l Over the years the ladies' committee have provided the entertainment at the annual Ladies' Dinner.  Organised by the vice-captain committee members have performed song and dance versions of popular songs ranging from ABBA, Boney M to  Mary Poppins and the Wombles.

This year, after an excellent dinner, the lady captain Sue Bailey, her guests and the ladies saw the committee's version of 'Singing in the Rain'.  They were introduced, in true music hall fashion, by Nigel Timpson who also recited an hilarious poem on behaviour on the golf course.  He was aided by Mike Coles whose jokes were well appreciated by the ladies.  To round off the club's winter social season members enjoyed a St Valentine's dinner followed by dancing.
