OKEHAMPTON Golf Club juniors guaranteed their place as division champions with a 4-2 victory over Sidmouth on Sunday. Junior Captain James Weller and the ever improving Jonny Rattenbury both kept their 100% records with decisive wins. Special praise must go to these two players who have provided the secure foundation to the team?s performances this season. Oliver Kirby kept up his recent good form with a solid victory and Jonny Weller wrapped it up in the last match which went all the way to the eighteenth. Darren Prouse and Lawrence Waldron may have lost their individual matches on this occasion but have been stalwarts of the team all season. Okehampton will now play the winners of the other division ( as yet undecided ) in early September on a neutral course to decide the overall EDJL Champion. Next matches ?
