ENGAGE Theatre Company wowed audiences at the Wharf, Tavistock last week with its rendition of hit musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

The theatre group, which turns five next year, had been set up for adults in the local area with learning difficulties.

The small group of around 20 members had been meeting up every Wednesday prior to the show in order to rehearse.

Company co-ordinator Ilona Richardson said: ‘Everyone has worked incredibly hard on the show.

‘As a group we suffered a great loss a few months ago, as one of our original members, Pat Bulley, sadly passed away. I wasn’t sure how the group would cope or if they’d be able to finish the rehearsal process and get to the show. But they have all been truly amazing, they’ve supported one another through an awful experience. We’re dedicating this show to our member who passed away.’
