PARENTS who are seeking work and would like support on job hunting, CV writing, National Jobs Match, access to local employment opportunities, training events and advice on setting up their own business are invited to attend the Work Out Work session at Tavistock Children's Centre every month.

The free session will run from 10am to noon, and the first was held near the end of last month.

A competition was held to name the new session and was won by mother Cheryl Babb. The prizes were donated by Alder Sportswear and soon Cheryl's daughter Poppy, will be able to enjoy the new wetsuit and body-board.

Work Out Work is free to attend and there will be a member of the children's centre available to help entertain the children while parents access information to help with their search for employment and training.
