THE ladies of Yelverton Golf Club played a Stableford competition for the Phyllis Easlick Salver.
The winner in division one and the salver was Joan Voisin with 30 points, runner up Trudi Luke, 27. In division two the winner was Sue Rumbold with 36pts, runner-up Verna Isaac 33.
On June 2 the ladies played a medal for the Pat Gove trophy.
Division one winner and of the trophy was Mair Preston-Jones with a nett 68; runner-up Marie Deeny, 69. Division two was won by Sheila Brookbank, nett 73, runner-up Carolyn Crawford, 74.
Congratulations to the following ladies who reduce their handicap after this competition: Sheila Brookbank 33 to 32, Marie Deeny 17 to 16, Mair Preston-Jones 20 to 18.
The winner of the Astor trophy knockout competition was Teresa Holt (on the 20th) with runner-up Carolyn Crawford.
