A WOMAN from Lifton is set to run the Flora London Marathon next month in aid of the Devon and Cornwall Cavitron Fund. Jo Northey will be taking part in the annual charity event on April 22 for the fund which provides relief and treatment to people with brain or spinal tumours by the provision of facilities and health care. Jo runs with a Launceston running club every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday — the longest distance she has run so far is 18 miles. The Cavitron Fund provides relief and treatment with the provision of facilities and health care not normally provided by public funds.
