WHITEFORD Music Festival will include jazz, classical, folk and popular chart classics this weekend (July 15 to 17). The open air festival, just off the A388 a few miles north of Callington, is organised annually by the Friends of Stoke Climsland Church. On Friday night at 7.30pm there will be New Orleans jazz with Guy Fenton?s All Stars. On Saturday night Major Barrie Mills will lead the Radio Light Orchestra in a Proms evening, wth guests the Loveny Choir and soloist Penelope White. There is the chance to relax on Sunday from 1.30pm with a combination of chart classic, light rock and local folk compositions. There will be a barbecue and bar, although visitors can take along their own hampers together with picnic chairs, blankets, lanterns and waterproof protection.
