THE Tamar and Tavy Gig Club's men's crews are delighted with their new sponsored rowing jackets for The World Pilot Gig Championships.
Vivienne Barnes, director of MVB Boiler Services Limited, the firm who have sponsored the jackets, made the presentation to the crews at The Olde Plough in Bere Ferrers.
After a hard winters training Tamar and Tavy Gig Club are looking forward to a succesful World Pilot Gig Championship this bank holiday weekend on the Isles of Scilly.
They will be taking two crews for each event — mens, ladies, veteran mens and veteran ladies.
The club train at Weir Quay, with all ages catered for, from 10 years and up.
