POLLING day has arrived. Voters in South East Cornwall will select the candidate they want as their MP at polling booths throughout the area.

There are six candidates standing: Roger Creagh-Osborne (Green), Karen Gillard (Liberal Democrat), Roger Holmes (Mebyon Kernow), Stephanie McWilliam (UK Independence Party), Sheryll Murray (Conservative), Michael Sparling (Labour).

Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm.

The counting of votes will start when polls close and will take place at the Falcon Ridge Sports Academy, Dobwalls. The result is expected around 5am tomorrow (Friday).
