ENJOY ten lovely and diverse late spring gardens in and around Chagford later this month when they open to the public in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The open day takes place on Sunday, May 21, from 11am to 6pm. Entry, to include all the gardens, will be by programme only at a cost of £5 per person, free of charge for children under 16. The programme will include a location map and a description of each garden. No dogs other than guide dogs will be allowed in the gardens. Programmes may be purchased in advance from Youd?s Newsagents, the Square, Chagford. On the day, they will be available at Endecott House, next to the Three Crowns, Chagford. Light lunches, cream teas, and home-made cakes will be available at Endecott House from 11am to 5pm.
