South Zeal Utd 4

Seaton Town 0

ZEAL outplayed Seaton Town on Saturday and continue to improve week on week. What could have proved a difficult fixture saw Zeal dominate from the start.

It took Zeal just 15 minutes to take the lead when Steve Pillivant hit in a low corner from the right and Roger White finished well from close range.

Tom Reilly, Steve Pillivant and Harley Cann were causing all sorts of problems for the Seaton defence and Zeal increased their lead to three goals by half-time when both Tom Reilly and Harley Cann scored well worked goals.

Zeal sat back in the second half, but though they had more possession Seaton found it difficult to make chances against a well organised defence.

Although not as dominant as in the first half, Zeal created many good chances but could not provide the finish that would have given them an even more emphatic win.

The fourth goal came after 25 minutes of the second half when Cann outstripped the Seaton defence and was brought down from behind in the penalty area, Steve Pillivant coolly converted the spot kick.

This Saturday away to Newtown, kick-off 2.30pm.
