Tavistock A 10 Truro C 0 TAVISTOCK men?s seconds hockey team set a club record on Saturday by winning a league match by the margin of ten goals. Tavistock dominated this match from the start and the only surprise was that it took 20 minutes to break a determined Truro defence. This came from a well-struck short corner by Alistair Brown. Further goals followed from Adam Holland (2), Neil Kelly (2), Matt Way (4) and Ander Cooley. The Tavistock defence of Rodda, Cowen and George were rarely troubled and keeper Martin Osbourne had a particularly boring afternoon. This Saturday: Tavistock A v PGSOB D, Stonehouse 3.30; Tavistock B v Ashmoor, Kelly 12 noon; Tavistock v Dawlish, Kelly 4.30.
