THERE was an unusual finish to the quiz night at Buckland Monachorum Village Hall last Saturday, when the three top teams all tied for first place with 78 points.

Village hall chairman and quizmaster Jim Knight said: 'Village hall quiz nights have been running every two months for over ten years and this is the first time we have ever had a dead heat, and to get three teams tied with the same score is amazing!'
