THE annual Island Park Party in Hatherleigh will take place on Saturday, September 14.

To celebrate the 110th anniversary of Hatherleigh Carnival, the theme is glitz and glamour and party wear.

The party starts at 6.30pm with Hatherleigh Silver Band, duck races at 7pm, a hog roast, barbecue and bar.

The prince and princess candidates will be introduced throughout the evening for people to vote. There will also be fun games, a bouncy castle and more.
