THE public local inquiry into unresolved objections to the Dartmoor National Park local plan, first review, began this week.
The hearings are being held at the authority?s Bovey Tracey headquarters under the chairmanship of Douglas Machin.
Today (Thursday) at 10am, the development status of Meavy will be discussed.
The next session, on Tuesday December 2, will focus on a range of housing issues, and the following Tuesday (December 9) development issues at Chagford will come under the spotlight.
The initial version of the plan review received 842 objections from the public between March and April last year.
Alterations were made, and the revised version was released in May this year for six weeks of further public scrutiny.
All representations were considered by the DNPA to determine whether more changes should be made. The inquiry will deal with all outstanding representations.
The full inquiry programme can be found on the DNPA?s website ? http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk/planning">www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk/planning
