Duchy Premier St Dennis 4 Lamerton 0 LAMERTON took a makeshift team to St Dennis, with several players injured and suspended. The visitors stayed in this game for an hour, before the Lee Rickard show unfolded. St Dennis's outstanding striker and captain put on a stunning display for the home team, scoring all four goals in a half hour spell, which embarrassed the Lamerton defence. The first was a superb swivel and strike, which flew into the bottom corner; the second came from the spot when Rickard cut open the defence with another mazy run, only for Paul Breyley to crudely bring him down. The hat-trick goal was gifted on a plate, but Rickard's fourth was another fine instinctive strike, from 20 yards, lobbing keeper Pete Daniel. The little striker was on fire. l With another player injured Lamerton will look forward to simply seeing out this season - with four away games and three in midweek left. Tonight Lamerton are away to Pensilva, kick-off 6.45pm.
