PEOPLE looking for work are being invited to attend an information session at Tavistock Library on Tuesday, January 22.

The event, led by Adult and Community Learning, will introduce a range of job searching techniques and will include information about the new Universal Jobmatch website.

Other opportunities to help with the next step forward will be available, including guidance on short courses on how to keep your CV up to date, raising confidence and helping with interview techniques.

Penny Westlake from Devon Adult and Community Learning, said: 'We are addressing the need for local people to have training opportunities here in the town.

'This advice session is open to all who are job hunting and it is free — just come along.'

The event will take place from 2pm to 4pm.
