PATIENTS in the Okehampton area can talk about any concerns or issues they may have with their local health service when the Devon In Touch Roadshow rolls into the town later this month. Members of the Mid Devon Patient and Public Involvement Forum will be on board the roadshow vehicle at Simmons Park car park on January 26, from 11am to 4pm. The visit will explain where the public can go with problems and complaints and find out how they can get their opinions heard. Visitors will also be able to hear about becoming involved in how health services are delivered to their community. On board there will be internet access and members will be able to help visitors to navigate their website http://www.cppih.org">www.cppih.org which is a great resource of health news and issues and provides information on the work of all forums around the country. The PPI Forum in Mid Devon is currently looking for new members to help them with their work and would welcome anyone who would like to come on board and talk about membership. Alternatively, contact the regional office for an application pack on 01392 332100.
