PEOPLE all over West Devon went pink mad last week, in their efforts to raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign.

Shops, businesses, schools and individuals took part in Wear it Pink day on Friday, October 26 — the culmination of the charity's biggest fundraising drive of the year.

THE AMAZING fundraising work going on at Quinns Hairdressing continued on Friday, all to help fight breast cancer.

Over the last month, the salon has raised around £4,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign, collecting money throughout October as well as hosting a boutique evening in October that generated £1,300. Five of the salon's hairdressers are also taking part in the Big Pink Jump national skydive on Sunday, November 4 to help drive up the fundraising total as high as possible.

On Friday, the team took part in the nationwide 'Wear it Pink' day, donning pink t-shirts to help raise breast cancer awareness, and raise more money.

The event is the charity's biggest fundraiser of the year. For more information visit http://www.wearitpink.co.uk">www.wearitpink.co.uk
