FORMER pupils of Chagford School shared their memories of the school chickens and a collection of old photographs with current pupils at a reunion afternoon last week. Around 20 former pupils ? all now in their eighties ? were invited to Chagford Primary to mark the 70th anniversary of the opening of the school. It was originally opened as a secondary school in 1936. The visitors had a look around the school to see how much it had changed, held a question and answer session with children in assembly and even enjoyed a birthday cake.
